The Czech National Bank has issued the tenth gold coin from the series Urban Monument Reserves. Its theme is the town of Tábor.
The coin is minted from 999.9 gold and is issued in two versions, regular and proof, which differ in surface finish and edge design.
In the top-grade coins, the field of the coin is highly polished and the relief is frosted, while the edge is smooth.
Regular quality coins have a scalloped edge.
The design by the duo of medalists Tereza Vlčková and MgA. Josef Oplištil won the Czech National Bank's art competition.
The obverse side features Ctibor's and Škoch's houses.
The reverse side shows the old town hall in the foreground and two town houses in the background.
Both sides are connected by sgraffito plasterwork in the background.
Each coin is accompanied by a catalogue card with a description of the coin and its sculptural representation.
The coin is stored in a red case.
