On July 6, 2015 it would be 600 years since Jan Hus died burnt at stake in Constance. This anniversary also reminds the extraordinary issue of a silver medal by The Czech Mint dedicated to the great man who was not afraid to fight for the truth even at the cost of cruel death. This is the third issue of the most beautiful series of unrealized proposals arising from bank competes coin with a nominal value of 10 000 CZK - Medal burning of Jan Hus followed by the Golden Bull of Sicily and the arrival of missionaries Cyril and Methodius. For all three works of art reminding of big anniversaries watershed moments in our nation's history, we have prepared a common luxurious wooden etui, which will underline their value.

Engaging silver medal burning of Jan Hus is workof an important medallist and teacher Luboš Charvát, whose flair for original compositions gave rise to very well-done numismatic artwork. The obverse side of the coin presents a portrait of Jan Hus in front of the flames along with inscription Master Jan Hus, 1415 and 2015. There are memorable words along the perimeter of the medal, "HEAR THE TRUTH, LEARN THE TRUTH, LOVE TRUTH, FIND THE TRUTH." The reverse side of the coin bears the impressive layout of arms and other master's quote "TELL THE TRUTH, HOLD THE TRUTH, BECAUSE THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE".
