In the year 2023, a great change has taken place in the British monarchy. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who died on 8 September 2022, was succeeded on the British throne by her son King Charles III.

The set contains a total of three Britannia coins.

1. Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II - As the 2023 coins were already in production at the time of the Queen's death, the coin was launched after her death.

2. Portrait of King Charles III - after the Queen's death, her son Charles III succeeded to the British throne. This is therefore the first Britannia coin with his portrait.

3. The Coronation of King Charles III - to mark the royal coronation in May 2023, the British Mint issued a limited edition Britannia coin. This coin features a portrait of King Charles III with a crown on his head. The coin was limited to 200,000 pieces.

The individual coins are placed in round plastic capsules.
